Harley-Davidson opens two new dealerships

Harley-Davidson has opened a new dealership in Surat, Gujarat and another one in Bangalore, Karnataka. The showroom in Surat is the company's second dealership in Gujarat and called Diamond City Harley-Davidson. It's first dealership is located in in Ahemdabad. Harley’s new Bangalore dealership is its second for the IT city. With the opening of two new dealerships, he number of Harley-Davidson authorised dealerships has risen to 17 in India.

Speaking on the occassion, Anoop Prakash, managing director, Harley-Davidson India, "Our dealer network in India has grown rapidly over the past five years, and has welcomed thousands of owners and enthusiasts across the country. This year alone we’ve opened additional locations in Mumbai, Delhi-NCR and now Bengaluru along with the first dealership in Surat, our second facility in Gujarat. We wish to congratulate our dedicated dealer partners on their new, world-class facilities."
Harley-Davidson has been growing its dealership network steadily over the past few years. Expanding their dealer network will be an important area of focus for the company to further its growth in India. They are not only focusing on tier I cities, but also on tier II cities.
Harley-Davidson recently launched three motorcycles in India – the Breakout, Street Glide Special and the CVO Limited to add muscle to its line-up in India. These two new dealerships will make their range more accessible to prospective buyers.
