Something like this might have not been imagined by anyone even in their wildest dreams, except Australian freestyle motorist Kain Saul who did the unthinkable — he become the first rider in the world to land a back flip on a Harley Davidson! Riding a specially converted XR1200 Harley, Saul landed the trick at Tooradin, southeast of Melbourne this Saturday.
And bike enthusiasts can’t help drop their jaws in disbelief. The Youtube site, where the video is uploaded, is getting messages by the minute. Even motorsports enthusiats and those who have rode the Harley in the Capital are excited. “Oh, that must have been one heck of a flip,” says DU student Mihir Sen, who rides a Thunderbird himself. “You need some caliber to flip a Harley weighing atleast 250 kg,” says engineering student Rahul Talwar, who’s eyeing a Rockstar C after Harley debuts in India.
Though there are some who argue that a possible suspension-change helped the stunt, others don’t want to take away the credit. “It still is amazing,” says DU student Afzal Ahmed. The Youtube clip has already witnessed over 35,000 footfalls within just three days of the act
