New Car discounts this April
Big discounts are being offered in the hatchback segment. Fiat is offering up to Rs. 75,000 off on the Punto, including an exchange discount and free insurance.
Maruti Suzuki is offering discounts on the Ritz, the Wagon R and the Wagon R Stingray. The petrol variant of the Ritz has Rs. 35,000 off while the diesel version has Rs. 45,000 off – of which Rs. 25,000 is exchange discount while the rest is a cash discount. The Wagon R is being offered with a Rs. 25,000 cash discount and a Rs. 25,000 exchange discount, that’s half a lakh rupees in discounts. The Stingray is being offered with a Rs. 60,000 discount, which includes a Rs. 30,000 cash discount and a Rs. 30,000 exchange discount.
Hyundai is offering discounts on the Eon and i20. The Eon is being offered with up to Rs. 29,000 off – including a Rs. 15,000 cash discount, a Rs. 2,000 corporate discount and up to Rs. 12,000 can be saved on free insurance. The i20 is being offered with a Rs. 15,000 exchange discount, a Rs. 15,000 cash discount and a Rs. 2,000 corporate discount, which sums up to Rs. 32,000 in potential savings.
The mid-size sedan segment has some lucrative deals on offer as well. The Skoda Rapid is being offered with an exchange discount of Rs. 15,000, a corporate discount of Rs. 10,000 and free insurance which amounts to a total discount between Rs. 43,000 and Rs. 53,000, depending on the variant.
The Hyundai Verna is being offered with a Rs. 48,000 discount on the diesel variant and Rs. 43,000 discount on the petrol variant, both inclusive of an exchange discount, a cash discount and a corporate discount.
The Fiat Linea Classic is being offered with an exchange discount of Rs. 40,000 and free insurance of Rs. 22,000 to Rs. 26,000, depending on the variant amounting to Rs. 66,000 in savings.
The Maruti Suzuki SX4 is being offered with an exchange discount of Rs. 35,000 and has an additional cash discount of Rs. 50,000 attached to it. And at the higher end of the sedan market, the Hyundai Sonata is being offered with a Rs. 1 lakh discount.
The SUV market is thriving in India and manufacturers are offering some enticing discounts to woo more customers. A discount has been offered on the Renault Duster despite its competitive pricing. With up to Rs. 1 lakh off on this SUV, this is one great offer. The Mahindra Scorpio has Rs. 40,000 off as well.
The luxury car market looks extremely inviting with major manufacturers offering some tempting discounts. Audi is selling the Q3 with a discount of Rs. 2 lakh, while the bigger Q siblings – the Q5 and the Q7 are being offered with discounts of up to Rs. 3 lakh. The A4 can be yours with a discount of Rs. 2.5 lakh, while the A6 is being offered with Rs. 3 lakh off.
BMW has announced a Rs. 3 lakh discount on the X3 SUV, the 3-series and the 5-series. The X1 is being offered with a massive Rs. 4 lakh discount while the 7-series sedan has Rs. 5 lakh off.
Keeping up with the competition, Mercedes-Benz is offering discounts of up to Rs. 1.5 lakh on their entry-level models, the A-class and the B-class. The C-class is being offered with up to Rs. 5 lakh off while the E-class is available with a Rs. 3 lakh discount.
If the German ‘big three’ do not suit your taste, the Jaguar XF is currently being sold with a Rs. 3.5 lakh discount.
