Ssangyong will reveal a new concept car at the Geneva motor show next month that will “define the brand’s new design philosophy”.
The SIV-1 is a four-door crossover aboiut the size of the seven-seat Nissan Qashqai+2. It’s 4500mm long with a 2700mm wheelbase, so any production version could offer a spacious interior. The concept has four individual seats.
The SIV-1 looks like it could be Ssangyong’s most modern and cohesive design yet, with shades of the Nissan Murano at the rear and Kia Sportage at the front. It’s very much a development of Ssangyong’s e-XIV concept from last year’s Paris show, with a similar wheelarch treatment and roofline.
Sadashiv Amrapurkar's short height and squeaky voice made him your common man, but whenever he appeared on screen he sent shivers down the spine with his intense performances. Here is a list of his top performances.
