Mahindra Renault on Friday unveiled two new variants of Logan, 1.6 GLX (petrol) and 1.5 dCi DLX (diesel), priced at Rs 5.26 lakh and Rs 6.02 lakh respectively, ex-showroom Pune.
"The new variants of Logan will raise the bar further in the mid-size segment of the Indian car market. They offer great value to the aspirational buyer who wants more features at a low price," Mahindra Renault Managing Director Rajesh Jejurikar said in a statement in Mumbai.
The new variants were introduced on the basis of customer demand. The additional features over GLE/DLE that will be available to customers include adjustable rear-head restraint, trunk room light, outside mirrors with manual adjustment, front and rear power windows and central locking systems.
Additional features such as rear door trim with fabric and body side moulding enhance the styling of the vehicle, the statement said.
"The Logan's performance in just 40 per cent of the markets has exceeded our expectations. The variants are being added to complete the product line of the Logan," Mahindra Renault Vice President (Sales and Marketing) Nalin Mehta said.
In phase two of the Logan's launch schedule, 10 more locations would be added to the dealer network by end of June. The new GLX and DLX variants will be available for bookings in all the locations in a phased manner.
