Premium automobile manufacturer SkodaAuto on Friday rolled out its 1,00,001st car--Yeti--from its plant at Aurangabad.
"Over the past decade, Skoda has re-invented itself as a strong, sensitive and, more importantly, a clever player in the automobile sector. Our factory at Aurangabad is our strength and will play an even more important role in the future, as our plans for expansion in the Indian market are ambitious," SkodaAuto India Chairman, Jurgen Stackmann, said.
Skoda's Superb, Laura and the newly launched Yeti are produced at the Aurangabad plant, a press release stated.
The Aurangabad plant also manufactures Volkswagen's Passat and Jetta, as well as Audi's A4, A6 and Q5, it stated.
