Suzuki Motorcycle rides on Access, Gixxer to clock 3 million units in India

Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) rolled out its three millionth vehicle out of its Gurgaon plant in Haryana, riding on the success of its flagship scooter Access and range of bikes under the brand Gixxer.
The two wheeler company is a subsidiary of the Japanese giant Suzuki Motor Corporation which started selling two wheelers in February 2006. One of its first products, the Suzuki Access 125, was one of the biggest challengers to India’s most-popular scooter Honda Activa, which has clocked more than 13 million units since its launch in 2000.

The success of Gixxer series and the new Access 125 played a crucial role in clocking three million customers.
