Tata launches Xenon pickup

India's largest commercial vehicle manufacturer Tata Motors announced the launch of Xenon XT, a four-door, five-seater pickup. The vehicle is powered by 2.2 VTT Dicor diesel engine can seat five in two rows.

Xenon XT can be customised to suit individual tastes and has a wide range of accessories such as fog lamps, canopy, boot lid and rollover bars.

Along with stylish interiors, it has features like power steering, power windows and central locking. It is available in White, Black, Silver and Mineral Red colours.

"We have launched this vehicle targeted at a niche. This does not come into any segment as of now," said PM Telang, president, commercial vehicles, Tata Motors.

The vehicle is priced at ₹7.62 lakh for the 4x2 version and ₹8.58 lakh for the 4x4 version, ex-showroom Delhi.
