Some of the country's most beautiful women walked the ramp here on Sunday night to raise awareness against female foeticide.

The Punjab Fashion Tour, organised here at HBN Country Club, had come to Bathinda after covering Ludhiana, Amritsar, Jalandhar and Patiala, and from the city, the show moved on to the grand finale in Chandigarh.

The Bathinda event featured the creations of Sulakshana Monga, Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) and Wills India designer from Delhi; Sumit Dasgupta, Wills India designer from Mumbai; Kirti Rathore of Jaipur; and Ashfaque Ahmed, Lakme India designer from Delhi.

Wills, Lakme and Gladrags models Priya Tyagi, Bhoomika, Aprajita, Avtaar Bajwa, Gaurav Singh, and Lalit Bisht, who are from Delhi and Mumbai, walked the ramp.

The Nanhi Chhaan Foundation working for the cause of the girl child in Punjab has partnered with Glamorouz Media for the fashion tour that will also help models get into theatre, television, and films.
