Three youths have been arrested for allegedly strangulating a medical representative last week.
Those arrested have been identified as Shah Rukh (19), Deep Sharma (18) and Shahawar Khan (20).
Police said the three allegedly murdered Uday Ingle, a 36-year-old medical representative, on July 1.
Accordingly, Shah Rukh had lent Rs 8,000 to Ingle some time ago, but Ingle did not repaid the debt despite several requests.
On July one, Shah Rukh and his friends went to the lodge where Ingle was staying and a fight broke out. Then the three of them allegedly strangulated Ingle.
Since valuables such as laptop or the mobile phone were missing from Ingle's room, police concluded that robbery was not the motive. Shah Rukh and others were arrested with the help of CCTV footage.
