The CBI on Monday registered five more FIRs in connection with the Vyapam scam.
The first case is for cheating by impersonation in the 2013 constable recruitment examination — the CBI has booked two persons under sections of fraud, forgery and criminal conspiracy.
The second is against unknown persons on the basis of an FIR registered in July 2010 in Bhopal, regarding allegations of question paper leak in examination for recruitment of patwaris in 2008.
The third case has been registered against 24 persons regarding irregularities in police constable recruitment exam that was conducted by Vyapam in 2012 while the fourth has been registered against candidates who were involved in impersonation in the constable recruitment examination 2013.
The fifth case has been registered on the basis of an FIR earlier registered by STF against people involved in impersonation in constable recruitment examination 2012.
