Of the conjoined babies separated through surgery on June 20 at Padhar Hospital, Betul Aradhana's condition is critical now. She is suffering from septicemia and had cardiac arrest twice on Wednesday. She is already on ventilator for the past over a week.
That she suffered from cardiac arrest twice came to be known on Thursday when the hospital administration issued the health bulletin.
"She had cardiac arrest twice between 3pm and 5pm on Wednesday but she was saved both the times. At the time of bulletin her heartbeat and breathing were both on much on higher side. Its main reason is septicemia (infection in blood). However, it will be too early to say anything at this juncture. The next few hours are very critical for Aradhana", said the bulletin issued on Thursday evening.
The hospital administration also said they were making the best possible efforts. "At the same time we request you to pray for Aradhana as you all have been doing so far for Aradhana."
Whereas Aradhana is critical her twin sister Stuti is fine. Both the babies celebrated their first birthday in the hospital on Tuesday. The hospital was celebrated and a good number of people including chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan visited them and wished them good luck.
"Stuti's condition is fine. She is being taken around in the open air on the hospital premises", said the bulletin.
