Crime investigation department (CID) of Bhopal police will present an application before the court on Monday for production warrant against Bhupendra Modi, who has been arrested by crime branch of police in Indore.
Modi is wanted in a case registered by CID, Bhopal, in connection with preparing fake academic certificates.

Recently, CID Bhopal busted a gang involved in preparing fake academic certificate and arrested four persons.
The CID also seized 11 fake certificates from the office of one of the accused, Sangita Sharma, who was allegedly heading the gang in Bhopal.
According to sources, Sangita Sharma told the interrogators that she used to purchase fake certificates from Bhupendra Modi.
On the other hand, Bhupendra Modi, who is in the custody of the Indore police’s crime branch, has claimed he used to purchase fake certificates from Sangita Sharma, sources said.
“Both were in contact for past over one-and-half years and working for the gang. But both are giving contrary statements. We are presenting an application before the court and Modi will be arrested and we may confront him with Sangita Sharma,” said investigation officer Shailja Bhadauria.
