Leader of Opposition and Congress legislative party (CLP) leader Satyadev Katare sustained head injury when he slipped inside the assembly on Wednesday night.
The CLP leader was going from lobby towards the chamber, inside the House, when he slipped. Katare got nearly half-a-dozen stitches in the head.
Katare has been ill for quite some time and had just recuperated when he got the fresh injury.
Later in the night, his family also reached the House, to meet him. The Congress MLAs had spent the entire Tuesday night in the Assembly and refused to leave even today.
They have been sitting on the dharna to press for relief for farmers affected by the recent hailstorm in the State.
