Police on Monday caught two imposters, who appeared in an exam of Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd). The exam is being conducted at Hamidia PG College.

The imposters were identified as Ashok Singh and Radheshyam, both residents of Jind district of Haryana. They were appearing in the exam in place of their respective cousins.

The duo had already written one paper of the examination held on Saturday. They were caught when they turned up to appear in the examination for the second paper on Monday.

According to police, Ashok appeared in place of Sandeep Singh and Radheshyam took the exam in place Sheeshram. Both Sandeep and Sheeshram are BPEd first year students in Chankaya College affiliated with Barkatullah University.

During the verification of their admit cards the invigilator grew suspicious as the photographs of both impersonators didn't match with the actual candidates.

The invigilator subsequently informed exam controller, who called up police. During interrogation, both the accused confessed to have committed the crime. A case has been registered against the imposter duo and the two BPEd candidates.
