A bomb threat on the Bangalore-New Delhi Rajdhani Express turned out to be a hoax, police said on Wednesday.

Searches were conducted in the train Bhopal last night on the basis of information given by Indian Mujahideen terrorist Saif, who was arrested from Jabalpur recently in connection with Ahmedabad blasts, police said.

However, it turned out to be hoax after various forces including the district police, anti-bomb squad, Railway Police and GRP searched the Rajdhani Express and found no explosives, declaring it to be safe, GRP sources said.

Police sources said that according to information given by Saif, there was a possibility of terrorist attack on the Bangalore-New Delhi Rajdhani Express on April 14.
