CBI files chargesheet in DA case against Koda

Depressed at poor results, at least 10 students of high school and higher secondary classes committed suicide in the past 24 hours in different parts of the state. M P Secondary Board of Education (MPSEB) declared the results of high school and higher secondary classes on Tuesday.

While there were reports of cheers and celebrations among the families and friends of toppers and others who were successful on Tuesday, Wednesday came with slew of reports regarding suicide by students, who failed to do well in the examination.

Two students from Satna district committed suicide after they failed to clear the examination. One of them was a student of class 10th and flunked in three subjects while the second one, a student of class 12th, had not been able to clear the physics and chemistry papers.

According to sources, Rohi Sen, 16, a student of class 10th at Amba Niketan Convent School in Satna town, had failed in three subjects. In the night, when his parents had gone to attend a marriage ceremony ad his younger brother had gone somewhere else, he hanged himself to the ceiling of the room and died.

Vikas Gautam, a class 12th student of Govt. Higher Secondary School, Birsinghpur, had failed to clear physics and chemistry papers. After returning home in village Gho Kuchh, he hag gone with his grandfather to attend a marriage, where he took some water in a glass and consumed poison. After he apprised people of his act, he was rushed to a hospital in Satna district, where he died during treatment in the wee hours of Wednesday.

In Guna town too, two students committed suicide after being declared unsuccessful in the examination.

According to our Guna correspondent, Mini Oza, 18, a student of class 12th, had gione to see her result on Tuesday afternoon but didn't disclose the result to her family members on the excuse that she would get to see the result next day but in the night, when everybody had gone to sleep, she hanged herself to death.

Ajay Ahirwar, 15, a studen t of class xth,also committed suicide by hanging at his home in Gokulsingh Chak locality on Tuesday evening.

Payal Chaudhary, a private student of class 12th in Dewas district, had passed the examination but marks she obtained were low. Depressed at her performance, she committed suicide by hanging herself to the ceiling of her room.

Shreya Shrivastava, a class 12th student in Chhatarpur town, had gone to see her result on the internet and after returning home, she picked up her Scooty and left. Later, her Scooty was found by the side of Sankat Mochak lake, where she had committed suicide by jumping into the lake.

Ayush Pandey, a student of class 12th from Sohagpur town, after seeing his result on the internet didn't go home. He rather went to the railway track and jumped before a train and committed suicide.

Shubham Mishra, a student of class 12th at Manegaon on the outskirts of Jabalpur city, also committed suicide by coming before a train on the overbridge in Jabalpur after watching his result on the internet. He has left a suicide note at his home saying that he had not prepaed for the examination properly and paid for it.

Puja Vishwakarma, 18, a student of class 12 in Rewa, committed suicide by hanging herself in her room on Tuesday after she got supplimentary in physics subject.

Vivek, 17, a student of higher secondary in Itarsi. committed suicide on Tuesday by hanging himself in his room after he failed to clear the exsamination.

Raksha Pandey, a bio-science student of class 12th in Hoshangabad, set herself afire after she got supplimentary on one of her sujects. She was rushed to hospital, where she was stated to be critical with 50% burns.
