As per sources, it was only on Wednesday when Chouhan expressed his willingness to accept the invitation and inaugurate the building but till then the organisers had got the invite printed in which Uma Bharti was mentioned as the chief guest and there was no mention of Chouhan.

Chouhan’s late consent led to a flurry of activities within the organisation and the organisers decided to honour Chouhan’s consent by inviting him to unveil the statue of Swadeshi Andoland champion Dattopant Thengadi at 10.30 am on the building premises whereas Uma Bharti was supposed to inaugurate the building at 11 am.

Chouhan reached the building on time and unveiled the statue but before he could leave the venue Uma Bharti arrived only to cause an embarrassing situation for Chouhan. But the latter chose to move out of the premises. It was when Uma Bharati sent somebody to call Chouhan back. Chouhan went back, met the Sadhvi but left the venue thereafter.
