Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan says his government's motto is to ensure every citizen's happiness, health and welfare. Hence, CM Helpline 181 has been launched to fulfill these goals.
Speaking at a city mall where the helpline was set up, Chouhan said the helpline aims at keeping the system of good governance alert and active in public interest. About 5,000 officers-employees of various departments have been linked with this novel helpline of its own kind in the country.
He said these officers would redress problems registered at the helpline. Information about government's welfare schemes and programmes could also be obtained through the helpline's toll-free number 181. Through this helpline, anyone could register his complaint or problem by dialling 181 from a cellphone or landline from anywhere.
He said the helpline would serve as a bridge between the people and the government.
