Cong demands CBI probe in party MLA's murder

The Deputy leader of Congress in Madhya Pradesh assembly, Madhya Pradesh's Chaudhary Rakesh Singh said,on Friday that the killing of Congress MLA, Makhanlal Jatav, during the campaign for the Lok Sabha elections was a political murder and demanded a CBI inquiry into it.

He told the reporters that the Jatav had no enmity with anyone whether it was over land or any other issues.

The problem began only after he won the election and become a legislator.

Chaturvedi said that the Congress has been asking the state government to initiate steps for a CBI inquiry into Jatav's murder but so far nothing has happened.

The Congress deputy leader said that a CBI inquiry sholud be demanded by the State Government or a writ petition could be filed on it, in a court.

He said that if the State government did not agree for the CBI inquiry, a write petition would be filed on, in the court.
