Demanding a CBI inquiry into the MP Professional Board (MPPEB) and MP Public Service Commission (MPPSC) examination scams, the Congress workers on Thursday staged a demonstration at Mata Mandir Square which is 2km away from Dattopant Thegdi Bhawan where a four-day workshop of the RSS was going on.

The Congress agitators, led by party's district president PC Sharma, sporting black badges headed towards the Bhavan but the police prevented them from moving ahead.

They also carried posters alleging the involvement of senior RSS leader Suresh Soni and chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in the scams.

As they were not allowed to move ahead, the agitators burnt those posters and also burnt the book 'Vyapam Ka Sach'.

Sharma, who justified the party's demand for a CBI probe, alleged that the senior RSS leaders were involved in the scam but the BJP-led state government was trying to shield them. So, the inquiry should be handed over to the CBI, he said.
