The online counselling for admissions to various postgraduate (PG) medical and dental courses like the MD/MS/diploma (Doctor of Medicine, Master of Surgery) and MDS on the basis of the National Eligibility-CumEntrance Test (NEET-PG) will commence from June 17. The directorate of medical education released the schedule of the counselling for government and private colleges separately on Thursday.
The first round for the MD/MS and diploma courses in government autonomous colleges will begin on June 17 and the registrations and choice filling will continue till June 21.
The candidates will be able to lock choices from June 22-23 and the seat allotment will be announced on June 26. The documents of the candidates who receive seat allotment will be verified for admissions between June 27 and 29 and July 1 and 3. The second round of the counselling will be held on July 7, while the third round will commence on July 26.
For the government dental and private medical/dental colleges, the first round of counselling will start from June 27 and continue till July 18, while the second round will commence on July 27 and end on July 31.
