Eid-ul-Zuha celebrated with fervour in Bhopal

Eid-ul-Zuha was celebrated with great fervour in Bhopal on Friday. Special Eid prayers were held at various mosques of the city. Large number of people participated in prayer held at Idgah at 7:00 am.

Celebrations were held and ceremonies sacrifices were made at several places. People visited houses of their relatives and family friends to wish them on this occasion.

Veteran actor Raza Murad and Congress leader PC Sharma also visited Idgah to wish people.

Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also extended hearty greetings and best wishes to people of the state on Eid-uz-Zuha. Chouhan said that Id-uz-Zuha was a festival of sacrifice, harmony and brotherhood. It is an occasion to promote truth and mercy in life.

Governor Ram Naresh Yadav also extended greetings to people and said Eid-ul-Zuha inspires for sacrifice and service to people. Yadav said all religious representatives have taught to respect followers of all religions.
