Ensure clean MP towards Swachh Bharat, says CM

CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan called upon people to ensure clean MP for a clean India (Swachh Bharat). His call came during inauguration of the building of zila panchayat in Bhopal on Tuesday.

Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan called upon the people to ensure clean Madhya Pradesh for a clean India (Swachh Bharat). His call came during inauguration of the building of zila panchayat in the state capital on Tuesday.

The building has been constructed at a cost of Rs 1.69 crore. After the function, the CM symbolically swept the venue to convey message of cleanliness. Chouhan administered oath to the people that a toilet would be constructed at every rural household of Bhopal district by next Diwali. He said every target can be achieved if government and society work in tandem.

Presiding over the function, panchayats and rural development minister Gopal Bhargava said all panchayats in the state will have an Internet connection. Similarly, zila panchayat buildings will be constructed in new districts.

Commissioner (panchayati raj) Raghuvir Shrivastava also spoke on the occasion. The welcome address was delivered by zila panchayat president Meena Himmat Singh.

Former chief minister Kailash Joshi, MP Alok Sanjar, MLAs Rameshwar Sharma and Vishnu Khatri, members of zila panchayat and public representatives were present on the occasion.
