The outgoing Madhya Pradesh Governor Dr Balram Jakhar on Monday said that he does not believe in holding regrets, but doing work that needed attention.
In a chat with reporters in Bhopal after the swearing-in of the new Lokayukta, P P Naolekar, Jakhar said that he was a farmer and would always work for farmers of the country.
Jakhar said that he did not think about things which should have been done, but had been left undone.
He said that he was happy with the cooperation he received from the people of the state during his stint as governor.
Jakhar on Monday took part in his last official function at the Raj Bhavan this morning when he administered oath of
office to Naolekar as Lokayukta.
Senior Congress leader Rameshwar Thakur will be the new governor of the state.
