A 27-year-old MBA graduate from Jammu and Kashmir, who was booked for sedition by Chhattisgarh police recently for allegedly making anti-national posts on social media, has been arrested from a Jammu-bound train in Sagar district.

Tausif Ahmad, a native of Baramulla district working with a cellphone company in Durg, Chhattisgarh, was arrested on board Durg-Jammu Tawi Express train on Tuesday late night at Sagar railway station, superintendent of police Sachin Atulkar said.

Ahmad was handed over to a Durg police team on Wednesday afternoon.

Sagar city SP Gautam Solanki led the team which caught the Baramulla native sleeping in one of coaches of the train at Sagar railway station and arrested him after ascertaining his identity.
