Jewellery worth over lakh stolen in Koh-E-Fiza

Thieves fled with Rs 73,000 cash and jewellery worth over Rs 2 lakh from the house of an insurance company adviser in Koh-e-Fiza area in Bhopal on Sunday. The police has registered a case and started investigation.

The police said Ghanshyam Choudhary, 47, is a resident of Sawan Nagar, and works as an insurance adviser with a life insurance company.He had gone to Lalghati for official work while his son had gone to a coaching institute when the theft took place.

Choudhary told the police that when he came back home around 4pm, he found the lock of his house broken.He said the burglars broke open the almirah and took away Rs 73,000 in cash and jewellery, including gold necklace, gold bangles, earrings and other articles, worth over Rs 2 lakh.

Later, Choudhary approached the police and registered a complaint.
