"It appears miscreants had briefly hacked my account and had send (sic) out mischievous tweets, we have taken back the control and are back on track."

This is what Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweeted on his Twitter page on Monday afternoon. The incident created a flutter in the administrative and political circles.

Though it couldn’t be immediately known as to what the contents of the 'mischievous tweets' were, these were immediately removed when authorities came to know about the hacking and the account was restored.

According to the CM secretariat authorities, who didn’t want to be quoted, no formal complaint was lodged with the police but cyber crime cell had been asked to trace the person(s) who hacked the account.
