The relatives of a patient, who died at JP Hospital on Saturday evening, created ruckus, accusing a paramedic of administering the wrong injection to the deceased.

The enraged relatives said that Vinod, a guard at a school in Govindpura (Bhopal), rode to the hospital on his bike after feeling pain in his chest and abdomen.

According to Bhopal chief medical and health officer Dr Pankaj Shukla, Vinod was given an injection of Aciloc and asked to wait.

"While waiting, he collapsed and died. The details about the exact cause of his death will become clear only after the post mortem report comes," Dr Shukla said.

But Vinod’s relatives could not be pacified with this explanation. They roughed up the paramedic and accused the hospital administration of medical negligence.
