MP BJP woos locals in Delhi before polls

The state Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leadership is enthused over participation of people from Madhya Pradesh in Delhi elections and wishes to strengthen the bond between the BJP and people from Madhya Pradesh living in Delhi. Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had a meeting in Delhi with people from Madhya Pradesh residing in the national capital.

"We were surprised to see the size of the gathering. There was a good turnout. It seemed people longed to meet and listen to the chief minister as he enjoys much popularity in and outside MP," said state BJP president Nandkumar Singh Chauhan.

Chauhan said there were approximately five lakh people who belong to MP. They had good bonding with their home state. This bonding would grow further, he hoped.

They also liked the chief minister because of the work he has done. He said he also held met some people from the state at his official residence in Delhi and was. He said people from MP residing in the Capital would surely contribute to BJP's victory in Delhi in the coming days.
