Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who is in China on a five-day visit, participated in group yoga session at Beijing on Tuesday on the occasion of International Yoga Day.
Chouhan shared a 15-second video collage of the photographs of the yoga session and a group photo of the participants on his twitter handle.
In the photographs, Chouhan can be seen performing yogic asanas in squatted position along with other Chinese participants.
Chouhan tweeted, “Celebrated the 2nd #InternationalDayofYoga with my new friends here in Beijing. Yoga connects people heart-to-heart”.
In another tweet, Chouhan said, “Great enthusiasm in China, sharing moments from today’s #YogaDay celebrations @ Beijing. #InternationalDayofYoga”
He said, “Yoga joins people, their hearts and builds positive thinking. Practice of Yoga keeps mind and soul peaceful and happy. Yoga has no geographical limits”.
On June 19, Chouhan left for China on special invitation of Communist Party of China. A high-level delegation led by Chouhan is meeting leading business groups and company heads there to seek investments for development of Madhya Pradesh.Bhopal’s tryst with Yoga
