Senior Congress leaders and district chiefs of the state met at the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) office on Tuesday over the issue of Professional Exam Board scam and were told to intensify the heat over the Bharatiya Janata Party.
State Congress chief Arun Yadav asked district leaders to raise the exam scam issue in the public and keep the heat on the government.
Yadav also asked them to question the ruling party over the land acquisition bill, increase in taxes and anti-farmer policies.
Mohan Prakash, general secretary in charge of the All India Congress Committee (AICC), MP, also addressed the gathering.
The district workers of the party were told that people who support the Congress in their movements and agitations should be termed as ‘lok sewak’ and they should be brought to the party fold.
Senior leaders, including Kantilal Bhuria, Laxman Singh, Ajay Singh, Sajjan Singh Verma, and the party MLAs were also present.
