The state Congress is seeking an appointment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi sometime after March 20 to apprise him of the Professional Examination Board scam and alleged involvement of MP chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in it.

All the Congress MLAs from the state, Congress Legislative Party leader Satyadev Katare, state Congress chief Arun Yadav, top central Congress leaders from the state including Jyotiradtya Scindia, Kamal Nath and Digvijaya Singh and All India Congress Committee general secretary in charge of party affairs for state Mohan Prakash will be part of the delegation that would meet the PM after the request is granted.

Katare told HT that the the Congress has been fighting for justice in the scam, but it also seeks Modi's help to get the scam investigated by the CBI.

The PM has stated that he stands for a corruption-free India and if that’s true then it’s time that he walks the talk by referring the case to the CBI, he said.
