MP: Former queen Yuvrani, her daughter were murdered

Erstwhile Nowgawh’s royalty eighty-year-old former queen Yuvrani and her 40-year-old daughter Rajkumari Baby Raja were murdered at their palace in MP’s Chhattarpur district, said police after post-mortem report of the mother daughter duo was received.

Erstwhile Nowgawh’s royalty eighty-year-old former queen Yuvrani and her 40-year-old daughter Rajkumari Baby Raja were murdered at their palace in MP’s Chhattarpur district, said police after post-mortem report of the mother daughter duo was received.

According to police, the post-mortem report of the former queen Yuvrani and her daughter Baby Raja made it clear that their deaths were from internal injuries. The Chhattarpur police has lodged a case under section 302 against unidentified.

Police are investigating many angles now- whether it was a robbery gone wrong or it was murder for property .

Additional SP Chhattarpur Neeraj Pandey told that after autopsy report police lodged a case under section 302 against unidentified. The autopsy report showed these deaths were due to internal injuries on body organs such as broken ribs, he said.

Police investigation since beginning indicated foul play. Police has decided to take the help cyber cell to crack the case.

The matter came to light after nobody responded to the milkman’s routine calls on Wednesday and Thursday morning at the palace gate, who then informed neighbours and other villagers. When police entered the palace room, they found body of Yuvrani and Baby Raja lying side by side. In the varandah of the palace, police also founded a broken tooth and a button, besides some blood stains, hinting struggle before their death .
