A Madhya Pradesh girl has sent a rakhi to Kulbhushan Jadhav lodged in a Pakistan jail and urged the authorities there through a letter to release him soon.
Rajlaxmi Sisodia from Neemuch district, over 400 kms from Bhopal, has sent the rakhi and letter to the postal address Rawalpindi Army Headquarters. The letter was posted by her father Dilip Sisodia.
In her letter, Rajlaxmi has written, “MY dear brother…I am sending you this rakhi on behalf of all the sisters in India. I am praying that soon you are able to celebrate this festival with us here. I hope you are released soon so that you can return to your country...with best wishes…your younger sister..Rajlaxmi Sisodia”.
She also appealed to the Pakistani authorities to release Kulbhushan Jadhav soon as a gift to sisters in India and ensure that the Rakhi she has sent, reaches him.
Kulbhushan Jadhav, a former naval officer, was arrested in Balochistan area of Pakistan over charges of spying for India in March 2016. In April this year Jadhav was sentenced to death by a Field General Court Martial (FGCM) in Pakistan.
