MP government to file fraud case against Gufran-e-Azam

The Question and Reference Committee of MP Assembly had recommended penal action against Gufran-e-Azam and other office-bearers of Waqf Board during his tenrure as chairman for taking up 22 additional points at Indore meeting of the board on May 31, 2009, which were not part of the agenda.
In a letter written to inspector general of police, Bhopal zone, under secretary in the minorities welfare and other backward classes Rajesh Kumar Kaul said that in persuance to the House panel report, the state government has decided to lodge an FIR against Gufran-e-Azam and other office-bearers under section 420, 467 and 468 of the IPC.
In a similar note to principal secretary, animal husbandry department, Kaul asked for booking the then CEO of MP Waqf Board SMH Zaidi in the same matter. Gufran-e-Azam was not available for comments
