MP: Two teachers, cop caught helping students cheat in exam

Two teachers and a police constable of Bhind district were suspended on Wednesday after they were caught helping students in cheating during board exams.

Collector Bhind Madhukar Agney and superintendent of police (SP) Vineet Khanna made surprise inspection at exam Bajhai block centre and found two teachers, Satyaram Singh Kushwaha and Ramnath Dohre, helping some students in cheating.

A police constable Shobharam Jatav was also caught providing chits to his sister for cheating during exams.

After this incident, the exam centre of Bajhai has been closed and arrangements for conducting exams for the students of these centres have been made at Bhind city.

In all, 114 students were caught cheating by flying squad in Bhind block, 93 were caught in Ater block and 12 were caught in Gohad, Mehgaon and Ron Tehsil. The flying squad has caught total 918 students in just six days in Bhind district.

Out of them, 583 students were of class 10, while 335 students were of class 12. Six imposters were also caught in the district.
