Owners of private physical education colleges affiliated to the Barkatullah University (BU) have decided to lodge a complaint with Special Task Force (STF) against alleged irregularities in varsity's physical education department.

A day after Special Task Force (STF) additional inspector general Rajesh Chandel sought detailed information about BU-affiliated private colleges which run Bachelor of Physical Education (BPed) course and students enrolled under the course in 2013-14, Rajeev Gandhi Physical Education College owner Sajid Ali and Indira Priyadarshini College's owner Arif Masood met STF inspector general Sudhir Shahi.

After receiving the letter, the BU had postponed the examination of BPed, which was scheduled to be held from October 30. Sajid Ali and Arif Masood requested the STF to allow the organisation for conducting examination. Shahi said the STF just asked for detail information after receiving the complaint of irregularities but they didn't ask to postpone the examination.

Sajid Ali said they have requested the STF to allow the examination process of BPed as it has already got delayed by about six months and more delay could create trouble for students. He also said that they would lodge a complaint against alleged irregularities in university's physical education department.

BU vice chancellor MD Tiwari has released a letter to all the private colleges to provide details of faculties and students and information sought by STF officials.
