The Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission (MPHRC) has sought a report from the Bhind police regarding the incident in which a woman was allegedly thrashed and paraded naked recently.

The Commission has asked a complete report into the incident from the district police. Also, it has called for information about the action taken by the officials after the incident.

The MPHRC has sought explanation from the police as to why the middle-aged woman’s clothes and hair that was lying on the ground was not collected from the spot.

The panel has said that these are crucial pieces of evidence to suggest that the woman’s hair was also cut by the attackers who were upset with her son’s marriage.

The superintendent of police (SP), Bhind, has been asked to send a report about the circumstances surrounding the incident and the action taken by the police.
