The brother of the policeman who was killed trying to stop a sand-laden truck in Morena lost both his legs after allegedly being pushed out of a train in New Delhi by pickpockets on Sunday.

Sudheer Singh Chauhan was on his way home after getting the news of his younger brother Dharmendra’s death earlier in the day. Sudheer is an Indian Army constable posted in Jammu.

"After getting the news of the death of his brother, he immediately left for Gwalior from Jammu.

On Sunday night, when the train was passing through New Delhi, someone tried to pickpocket him. Sudheer caught him red-handed but the accused pushed him out of the train", said Dharmendra’s brother-in-law Azad Singh Tomar.

Sudheer has been admitted to the Army Hospital, New Delhi.
