However, till now, no complaint has been lodged against the accused.

According to sources, the minors used to study at the government primary school where the accused, Tulsiram Atthya, 44, was a teacher.

Atthya allegedly molested the three on different occasions in school in the last one month. He also threatened to kill them if they tried to inform their family members about the incident.

The three narrated the whole incident to their parents, who on September 29 submitted a written complaint against the accused to the principal of the school.

“The principal, Mahesh Sharma, took the matter seriously and informed the officials of the education department,” said a source.

Block resource centre (BRC) officer Bhagwan Singh Khangar said they had spoken to the villagers and the victims’ kin about the incident. “We have recorded their statements and sent it to higher officials for further action. So far, based on the statements of the victims, the incident seems to be true,” said Khangar.

The police are yet to take any action in this case as no complaint has been lodged against the accused.

“As soon as we receive a complaint, we would register a case against the accused and arrest him immediately,” said town inspector SR Pandey.
