Two more people died of swine flu in Bhopal on Sunday, taking the toll to 59. Both the patients were females and were undergoing treatment at different hospitals.
However, health department officials have confirmed only one death in Bhopal. Out of these two patients, one was a resident of Guna district and was undergoing treatment at Hamidia Hospital.
The 32-year-old woman's case was the first from Guna district. She was getting treated at district hospital in Guna. Later, she was brought to Bhopal. Another suspected case of swine flu was referred to Bhopal from Guna on Sunday.
The 27-year-old woman is undergoing treatment at National Hospital, Bhopal.
Another 50-year-old woman, a resident of Garib Nagar, succumbed to the flu. She was undergoing treatment for swine flu at a private nursing home in the city.
Meanwhile, no fresh case of swine flu was diagnosed in Bhopal and Indore on Sunday. In all, 43 reports are awaited in Bhopal, while 139 reports are awaited in Indore.
A total of 16 patients are undergoing treatment for the flu at MY Hospital in Indore and 143 patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals of Bhopal.
