A day after five witnesses refused to identify underworld don Abu Salem in a fake passport case, two more witnesses on Tuesday did the same in the court.
On the second day of the hearing in the court of chief judicial magistrate and of the five witnesses who were scheduled to come on Tuesday, only two turned up.
Witness Shamshad Bi refused to identify Salem and said she neither knew the underworld don nor had seen him.
The other witness, Tulsa Bai, alleged that police had come to her four to five years ago and took her signature on a paper but added that she did not know Abu Salem either.
Meanwhile, Shagufta Asif, Man Singh and Javed did not appear in court on Tuesday.
Five witnesses had refused to identify Salem on Monday.
The next hearing will now be held on June 25.
The charges in the fake passport case were framed against Salem in the CJM's court on June 16.
Salem's alleged companion and film actress Monica Bedi was acquitted in the case by the sessions court earlier.
