SRK plays superhero

Shah Rukh Khan’s much anticipated Ra.One will see King Khan in a superhero avatar for the first time. The film is touted as the most expensive film ever made in Bollywood. His blue-coloured digitalised costume in the trailer reportedly costs Rs 1 crore and was specially made in Los Angeles. All the technicians and the special effects team were hired from Hollywood. Kareena Kapoor plays the female lead alongside Khan in the film whilst Arjun Rampal will be seen as the villain. Chinese-American actor Tom Wu would also be part of the film.

Ra.OnFarah acts on big screen

After being a successful choreographer and director, 46-year-old Farah Khan has now ventured into the acting arena full-fledged. Though she has done cameos in the past but now she would be seen playing the female lead opposite Boman Irani in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Shirin Farhad, directed by Bhansali’s sister Bela. "I thought Sanjay is kidding when he first approached me for the role but after he narrated the script, it took me a while to realise that the film was actually written for me, so I had to agree," says Farah.

Imran does a sex scene
Actor Imran Khan has finally shed his chocolate boy image and will be seen in a bold avatar in Aamir Khan production’s next film Delhi Belly. The 28-year-old actor, for the first time, will be seen indulging in a steamy liplock sequence with debutant Poorna Jagannathan, inside a car. That’s not all. The actor has also done a full-fledged bed scene where he is shown going ‘down’, but everything has been shot between the sheets.

Salman does a Yash Raj film
In 26 years of his Bollywood career, Salman Khan has done more than 80 films but for the first time the 45-year-old actor would be seen in a Yash Raj Film (YRF) — Ek Tha Tiger, opposite Katrina Kaif. “Adi (Aditya Chopra) has time and again approached me for various scripts but I guess this is the one for me,” says Salman. The actor is rumoured to be charging a whopping sum of Rs 17.5 crores for this film.

Ranbir becomes an item-boy
Actor Ranbir Kapoor is nervous about his maiden item number in Chillar Party. Not only because it is his first item song but also because the song is a tribute to his father Rishi Kapoor. The look-and-feel of the song is inspired from Rishi’s song in Amar Akbar Anthony. “Ranbir is not leaving any stone unturned to give it his best shot. He is closely associated with the making, editing and look of the song,” says a source.
