Love, sex, sleaze and boldness ruled the silver screen this year as boy-next-door Imran Khan, coy Vidya Balan and pretty Priyanka Chopra didn't think twice before shedding their inhibitions to get 'dirty' on screen. Here's a look at 2011's ten boldest films.

Yeh Saali Zindagi: Arunoday Singh and Aditi Rao took away the limelight with their passionate smooch scenes in Sudhir Mishra's Yeh Saali Zindagi. So much so that they broke Mallika Sherawat's record of 17 kisses by locking lips 22 times.

7 khoon maaf7 Khoon Maaf: Priyanka Chopra filmed some of her career's most steamy scenes in Vishal Bhardwaj's 7 Khoon Maaf with her six on screen husbands - John Abraham, Irrfan Khan, Annu Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Aleksandr Dyachenko.

Monica: Divya Dutta portrayed the role of a lesbian journalist in the movie. The film was directed by Sushen Bhatnagar.

Ragini MMS: Horror was mixed with sex in this Kainaz Motivala and Raj Kumar Yadav starrer. Ekta Kapoor continues with her tradition of producing bold films.

Bhindi Baazaar Inc: The intimate scenes between Vedita Pratap Singh and Prashant Narayanan made more news than the subject of the film. Directed by Ankush Bhatt, it also starred Kay Kay Menon, Piyush Mishra, Deepti Naval, Gautham K Sharma, Shilpa Shukla and Pawan Malhotra.

Delhi BellyDelhi Belly: Along with the expletives, the Imran Khan starrer had a heavy dose of sleazy scenes. Imran's kiss scene with Poorna Jagannath in the moving car and an intimate scene with Shenaz Treasurywala added to the film's boldness quotient. The film was directed by Abhinay Deo.

Murder 2: Be it Yana Gupta's item song Aa Zara Kareeb Se or the super-steamy sequences filmed on Emraan Hashmi and Jacqueline Fernandez, Murder 2 was high on skin show. The film was directed by Mohit Suri.

Not a Love Story: The movie directed by Ram Gopal Varma based on Neeraj Grover murder case had a lot of intimate scenes. It starred Mahie Gill and Deepak Dobriyal.

MurderChitkabrey - Shades of Grey: The story goes like this: 7 couples are brought together by chance. They will face each other's past, present and future. The film has loads of intimate scenes and nearly every actor in the film has stripped on screen. The film stars Ravi Kishan, Akshay Singh, Akshharaa Gowda, Amit Bhardwaj, Bobby Vatsa among others.

Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster: Based in a small town in the Northern part of India, Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster is a story packed with intrigue betrayal and ambition between a beautiful Begum, her Nawab husband and an ambitious young boy. The film starring Mahie Gill, Jimmy Shergill and Randeep Hooda had a lot of scope for bedroom scenes. It was directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia.

The Dirty Picture: Vidya Balan broke all the boundaries to heat up the screen with three actors - Naseeruddin Shah, Tusshar Kapoor and Emraan Hashmi to portray Silk Smitha on screen. Directed by Milan Luthria, this film can be considered Vidya's boldest so far.
