The couple was dating for a while and were living together got married in January. The wedding took place at their Mumbai home with family and close friends in attendance. On the occasion, Soha tweeted a picture captioned, “I married my best friend today.”
Harshdeep Kaur and Mankeet Singh
Singer Harshdeep Kaur married her best friend Mankeet Singh in March. The couple had a gurudwara wedding and the singer broke the news to her fans on Twitter. “Got married to my best friend Mankeet Singh yesterday... Need your blessings,” she posted with a picture from the wedding.
Shreya Ghoshal and Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya
Singer Shreya Ghoshal tied the knot with long-time boyfriend Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya, an entrepreneur, in February. The singer revealed the news on her Facebook and Twitter page. “Married the love of my life @shiladitya last night surrounded by our families n close frnds, exciting new life awaits,” she posted along with a picture from the wedding.
Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput
The actor broke many hearts with the news of his engagement to Delhi-based Mira last year. They tied the knot in a rather hush-hush, high-security affair in Delhi in July. “I am in a very happy space. It’s a new beginning. Everything changes after marriage. You become a man,” he told us sometime back.
Kunal Kapoor and Naina Bachchan
Actor Kunal Kapoor tied the knot with actor Amitabh Bachchan’s niece, Naina Bachchan in February this year in a private ceremony in Seychelles in the presence of their family. “We knew each other really well and have been very solid in each other’s lives. But I feel that I am a lot happier now, after marriage,” Kunal told us.
Abhishek Kapoor and Pragya Yadav
Filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor and actor Pragya Yadav, who got engaged in 2013, tied the knot in May. As he was busy shooting his upcoming film, which stars Aditya Roy Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, the filmmaker did not go for a honeymoon right after the marriage.

The singer married Jaipur-based businessman Hitesh in March. While many feel that marriage gets in the way of a career, Tulsi disagrees. “My career has not taken a back seat after marriage.
