‘Working with the Kapoors was great’
A ctor Riteish Deshmukh (left) says he was overwhelmed after working with Bollywood veterans Randhir and Rishi Kapoor on the sets of Housefull 2. The Kapoors shared their personal and professional experiences with the cast. “The experience was great. To work with Chintuji (Rishi) and to see him act, besides acting, the thing is that this is the first time I have got an opportunity to work with actors whose films I have grown up watching. So, you talk about what had happened in their times,” the 33-year-old said, adding, “There are so many stories, be it Dabbooji (Randhir), Chintuji or Mithun da (Mithun Chakraborty). Off set, it was nostalgic to know about how things were at that time.’ Riteish says Randhir, the eldest son of legendary actor Raj Kapoor, also shared some trivia with him. “Not many people know that Dabbooji debuted as an actor, he directed his own film at the age of 21. He directed his father and his grandfather in the same film called ‘Kal, Aaj aur Kal’. People think that Raj Kapoor made that film. So it’s great to know so much trivia,” he said.
