Ever since Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Naa, his debut film three years ago, Imran Khan has often been asked when he will share screen space with his uncle, Aamir Khan. The wish has been fulfilled, albeit in a small way. The actor-filmmaker shot a promo with his nephew for Delhi Belly a couple of days ago, after returning from Pondicherry, where he had gone for the outdoor shoot of his suspense thriller, An Act Of Murder.

The promo was planned before the pre-release campaign took off but was tweaked recently on the basis of the response to the film’s initial trailers and songs, including the chartbusting Bhaag DK Bose… All talk Says a unit member, "The promo is like a conversational interplay between the actor-producer and the three guys of Delhi Belly, Imran, Vir Das and Kunal Roy Kapoor. Aamir starting off by talking about his role as the producer and then goes on to introduce the actors, beginning with Imran. The verbal exchange between them is really funny and adds to the camaraderie they share on the screen."

ImranInterestingly, this is the first time that Aamir is featuring in a specially created promo for his production... and that too as himself. It is learnt that Aamir himself directed this promo, deciding where the camera should be placed and how the actors should enact the scene.

The promo that goes on air this Sunday has his trademark stamp even though it’s just a minute long. The writer of Delhi Belly, Akshat Varma, confirmed the news: "When the going is bad, shit happens. Keeping this tagline in mind, the new trailer is a hilarious take on the film."
