With less than two months to go before it hits theatres, Aamir Khan is building suspense for his upcoming crime thriller Talaash. To give the viewers a glimpse of the plot and the characters, the makers have shot a special music video of the soon-to-be-released song, Muskaane Jhoothi Hain.

The promotional video, which is not part of the film, features Kareena Kapoor, Rani Mukerji and Nawazuddin Siddiqui among others, who play the suspects in the film. Aamir Khan plays the police officer investigating what seems like a perfect crime.

The video will be released at the music launch of the film on October 18. The movie will be his next big commercial release after the super hit 3 Idiots (2009), which is why producers Excel Entertainment are leaving no stone unturned.

“Talaash being a suspense-thriller, the music video will build up the anticipation by bringing together all suspects in one video and confusing the audiences,” says a source close to the production house. The film also marks the reunion of Aamir Khan, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani after their 2001 hit, Dil Chahta Hai.

Sidhwani confirms the news but refuses to divulge details: “Yes, we have shot an exclusive music video,” is all he says.
