ABCD 2 star Lauren Gottlieb to learn Hindi in Lucknow

Actor Lauren Gottlieb is currently in Los Angeles, US, but it won’t be long before she reaches Lucknow to learn Hindi. “I was introduced to a professor in Lucknow by a dear friend who does theatre in Delhi. I am currently in LA and will be flying back to Mumbai before heading to Lucknow for two weeks,” says Gottlieb, who was last seen on the silver screen in a Punjabi film alongside singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh.

Gottlieb, who started her Bollywood career with ABCD: Any Body Can Dance (2013), hails from Scottsdale, US. She feels it is important to learn Hindi from someone who has mastered it. “As someone who’s new to Hindi, learning from someone who’s as disciplined about the language would help me learn better,” says the actor.

“Lauren wants to make a mark for herself. So, she wants to improve her Hindi and for that she’s flying to Lucknow for two weeks. While she’s there, she also intends to learn the basics of Urdu as she has been fascinated by Urdu poems, translations of which, she avidly reads in English,” explains a source.

During her stay in the city, Lauren wants some leisure time as well. “I am also looking forward to spend time exploring Lucknow,” she says.
